It's that time of year when we get the opportunity to show the dads in our life we love them!
Before we get to the gifts, if you have a dad... realize how blessed you are. Not everyone has a dad or a good relationship with their dad. Dylan or I will write about fatherhood and the importance of dads in later blogs, but if you do not have an earthly father, you do have an amazing example of a Heavenly Father in Jesus. Here are some numbers that might make you thankful to be driven crazy trying to figure out what you can get your dad for Father's Day!
Children with actively involved fathers are: 43% more likely to earn A's in school and 33% less likely to repeat a grade than those without engaged dads.
According to the U.S. Census Bureau, 19.5 million children, more than 1 in 4, live without a father in the home.
73.4% of the fathers are married, 12.9% are divorced, 3.2% are widowed, and 2.3% are separated.
An estimated 1.4 million men are stay-at-home dads.
In 2020 there were 6.96million families with a single father.
Be thankful that you have the opportunity to shower a dad with love on Father's Day! Also, I had to put the toilet timer on there, that one made me laugh out loud when I saw it! Dylan is guilty of "scrooping" at our house!
